Gorbals Boys : Liz Peden

On the corner of Cumberland Street and Queen Elizabeth Gardens a new public artwork based on the iconic photograph by Oscar Marzaroli has been unveiled. The artwork is three separate sculptures of three boys in their mother's high heels playing in the street.

Italian-born "Scottish" photographer Marzaroli is most famous for his 1960's images of the Gorbals; however outside of Scotland he seems to be largely ignored. Here's a link to the story..link
