Photography Exhibition : Glasgow
Berlin Wall : Future Inside the Present
The problems over at the Mackintosh Lighthouse (in Glasgow city centre) seem to be resolved. "Resolved" in this context I think means more public money is on its way. However. Their current photography exhibition is a timely affair. It's the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall's demolition and photographers Wolfgang Fuettere and Michelle Letowska photographed the wall's 155km circumference over a period of four years. Their photographs (exhibition link) were taken in what was called Death Strip, a no man's land between the two parallel fortifications commonly known as the Berlin Wall. Now I got a reason to go back to the Lighthouse.
